Shahid Kapoor Wishes to Erase Shaandaar from His Career List

Shahid Kapoor is busy promoting his latest release Kabir Singh and has a lot to share with media. This time, his confession regarding Shaandaar has caught the attention of almost everyone.

Recently in an interview alongside his Kabir Singh co-star Kiara Advani, Shahid made some startling confessions about his career choices.

“I have done some really crappy films,” said the 38-year old actor.

To this, his co-star commented that Shahid’s 2015 release Shaandaar did not impress her, and Shahid agreed with her.

“I would erase ‘Shaandaar’ from my career trajectory if I could. No one from this generation of actors can claim that a bad film did well just because they were in it,” said Shahid.

Shaandaar, starring Alia Bhatt and Shahid’s father Pankaj Kapoor was termed as the biggest wedding celebration on cinema. Regardless of the star cast and massive publicity, the movie failed to impress the audience at any level – rather it’s termed as one of the sloppiest movies of Bollywood.

Shahid who had called the movie ‘the most relevant of his career’ during promotions in 2015, now believes that it was a wrong choice he made back then.

Nonetheless, Shahid thanked his fans for being loyal to the actor despite his ‘crappy films’.
