Travel Diaries: Pop queen Madonna celebrated her 60th birthday in Marrakech, Morocco

Madonna, the Queen of Pop, Madonna, celebrated her 60th birthday in the former imperial city of Marrakech in western Morocco. She celebrates her birthday in style and reminded her fans in case anyone had forgotten of her B-Day by posting on social media.

She also took a trip of the local market, and posted what she saw there, not a fairly good sight for many of her fans.

 

American singer posted a video shot in night in the labyrinthine alleys of the city’s ancient market, on her social media account on the eve of the big day and captioned it, “Walking thru the Labyrinth of the Medina during the Call to Prayer”.

The Birthday girl has been eagerly waiting for her birthday celebrations to kick off, taking it to social media posting all the details.

To mark her birthday celebrations day Madonna, who has adopted four Malawian children, has launched a collection for the charity “Raising Malawi” which supports orphans and vulnerable children. She wrote on her Facebook page, “For my birthday, I can think of no better gift than connecting my global family with this beautiful country and the children who need our help most”.
