The Oscar winner, Viola Davis has denied the ownership of the former plantation land where she was born; explaining that she didn’t buy it and it was just a misinterpreted Instagram post.
A post had been circulating on social media that made the fans believed that Davis bought the former plantation where she was born.

The misinterpretation began when Davis posted a photo of the house where she was born for her 55th birthday and added the caption, “I own it,” she didn’t mean bought the house.
She later wrote in the comments on the Instagram post, “Uhh….contrary to websites….I do not ‘own’ above house. I ‘own’ my STORY!! Too abstract I guess.”
