Sadak 2 Trailer Starring Alia Bhatt Receives 5.6 Million Dislikes on YouTube

The backlash against Alia Bhatt and star kids continue in the aftermath of Sushant Singh Rajput’s death, as the trailer of Sadak 2 starring the actress receives 5.6 million dislikes within 24 hours of its release. Viewed over 10 million times, the trailer and the film even before its release has garnered quite a lot of negative attention due to Alia and Mahesh Bhatt’s association with the film.

Right when Sadak 2, which is helmed by Alia’s father Mahesh Bhatt was announced to be released on Disney+ Hotstar, a Twitter trend #UninstallHotstar paced up on the social media platform. The backlash and potential trolling also forced Alia to turn off comments on her social media as she shared the posters of the movie.

Alongside Alia, the movie also stars her sister Pooja Bhatt, Sanjay Dutt, and Aditya Roy Kapoor. Pooja herself took to Twitter to address the issue.

“Hate.Debate.Malign.Lie. Boy’coot’. Scoot. Unfriend.Trend. Over the top? Why not? Gotta do what it takes to be host with the most with a hot bot!” said the 48-year old actress.

After Sushant’s suicide, an old video of Alia surfaced in which she was seen mocking the late actor. Furthermore, her father Mahesh too fueled the controversy as his photographs with Rhea Chakraborty (Sushant’s) late girlfriend surfaced alleging of a relationship between the two.
