Dilruba Epsiode-2 Review: Sanam is conveniently playing with hearts

Dilruba the newly started drama serial on HUM TV is a take on social media flirting, the play is very artfully portraying the true picture of our youngsters who take flirting as a  sport and for them playing with other’s feelings is just okay and very acceptable thing. Little they realize that by doing so they are actually boosting false hopes and it will eventually lead to ugly outcomes. Hania Amer has aced this role with her brilliant performance.

Sanam conveniently plays with the heart and feelings of the boys, never ever she has tried to stop guys for calling her nor she has ever tried to ignore them in fact she enjoys when they confess their love for her. Sanam has never realized that it is not dignified for a respectable girl to accept gifts from boys. There is no concept of right or wrong in Sanam’s dictionary, what she thinks about are only her own benefits.

Sanam is so insensitive that she has ever never realized that she is actually playing with someone’s feelings. Her welcoming smile and attitude may ignite new hopes in other’s mind. It seems so unfair with a person like Sabhi who is such a gentleman and a decent fellow but Sanam does not even cease to exhibit her charms in front of him, unknowingly to her welcoming attitude, poor Sabhi seems to have lost his heart too, he like others is taking her usual socializing skills and welcoming attitude as her interest in him. The poor cousin does not deserve such an attitude.

Sanam’s brother sends him an expensive mobile which her mother takes back from her as she does not approve such an expensive mobile to keep. Sanam makes a lot of hue and cry but her mother is strictly not in favor of having such luxury. Well, being a mother, her behavior is totally justified, she knows how carefree and irresponsible she is, but it is wrong too, it is a gift to her from her brother and she has taken it from her so that she can make some stuff for her eldest daughter’s dowry. This has given space to Sabhi who later gifts his mobile to Sanam which she shamelessly accepts.

Junaid the shop keeper is calling Sanam and she is posing like a cruel heartless beauty who only enjoys praises and pleas of her lover. On the other hand, the photographer guy is still after her and he has procured her number through her neighbors and he has also sent her a gift a collection of her photos he had captured during the wedding. Sanam’s sister catches Sanam watching her exclusive photo album, she inquires where did she get these pictures and Sanam is a bit stunned on this question. The episode ends here making us wondering that what excuse Sanamu is going to make this time.
