This week’s episode of Ishq Tamasha turned out to be a bit slower than usual. Although no major developments took place, we now know for sure that Mirha has no intentions of welcoming anyone from her older life back and is adamant on making a life for herself.
On the other hand we have an upset and guilty Wahaj, who is now taking directions from khala ama. Wahaj seriously needs to get a grip on himself and start thinking as a man. Upon insistence from khala ama, Wahaj heads out to Mehrab and ask for his help in finding Mirha.
Mehrab, who himself was pining, understands what was bothering him at all times and sets out to find Mirha. Also Wahaj admits that perhaps he doesn’t deserve Mirha and that also Mehrab is a better person.
The episode also brought back a glimpse of the old Rushna, the one who used to fight for her sisters. Yes despite of Mehrab’s restrictions she comes home to fight for Palwasha’s marriage issue. Moreover she plans to refuse the proposal for Palwasha by involving khala ama but Aqeela catches them and shuts herself inside only to throw Rushna out of her house.
Rushna’s dialogue “Aap mera mara huva moun daikeengi” hints at something really drastic about to happen. We really wanted to find out what was causing her all these headaches but it seems we’ll have to wait a little more.
For now, we’re quite impressed by what’s going on in Ishq Tamasha, and yet we wish it reaches its climax soon because the suspense is killing. Along with Junaid Khan and Aiman Khan, we have had the delight to watch Kinza Hashmi and Furqan Qureshi give amazing performances. Saba Faisal is a pro and needs no words but Danish Nawaz’s direction has brought out an amazing side of her that makes us hate this woman we have always loved for her characters. Misbah Nousheen’s story is wonderful and we’re left amazed each time, wondering how this twisted tale will end and whether there would be a future for Mehrab and Mirha?

Mirha who claimed she needs to stand on her feet has gone on to work in a school for special needs. Absolutely commendable and clearly writers attempt at making the perfect girl even more perfect and that makes it all even more unreal. Now had she a strong background , it would have been fine but for someone who has no home and has to earn a living for herself, it just doesn’t make any sense. Now the rich man will be smitten by her lovely heart and be the the knight in shining armour and support her financially whilst our heroine serves humanity. Seriously irritating is Aiman Khan s role. This girl is a shameful representation of a Pakistani female. Incapable of surviving until a man takes her in and or supports her and all the “jee” “aap” s will make her the woman of any Asian mans dream *gags*
Rushna is atleast a strong of another unreal character but cmon the girl can act rather then Aiman Khan , who frankly is a bore, the same bechari masoom ladki who does ghar ke kaam all the time and has every single male pining after her .
