Jeevan Nagar Episode-4 Review: Babbar Shah Apologizes To Munni For False Allegations!

Jeevan Nagar continues to intrigue viewers with its multi-layered narrative. The identity of Babbar Shah and Guru Laali (Sohail Ahmed) is still a question mark. Are the two separate individuals or have a past that remains to be explored? In episode four of Jeevan Nagar, Munni (Rabia Butt) and Babbar Shah came face to face and some real fireworks happened. Let’s review.

Babbar Shah gets influenced by Billa’s (Saquib Sameer) fake information about Munni. Shah reaches her place and warns her that the environment of Jeevan Nagar is being badly affected. He won’t tolerate the wrongdoing that is happening in the name of the gym. Munni questions his presence in her house and asks him, who is he to give her dictation. Munni challenges Shah to prove the allegation or else he would apologize in front of everyone. Babbar Shah scolds Billa for his misinformation and tells Babu to inquire about Munni’s background.

Meanwhile, Guru Laali and her companions are off to attend a function. Unfortunately, their bus is hijacked by kidnappers.  Nida (Aamna Malick) forces her boyfriend Yasir to convince his father about their marriage. Her cousin Faizan comes to know about Nida’s secret affair. He warns her to stay away from Yasir or else he would take this matter to her father. The fearless Nida in return threatens him that she will tell the entire family that he is a drug addict.

As the story progresses, viewers come to know about Munni’s story. She was raised in a broken family. She went abroad to do a fitness course. She returned and opened a gym. She fell in love with a cunning man Salaar. The latter fooled Munni and trapped her in his fake love. Munni got married to him without the consent of her parents. Salaar made a business scheme and made Munni pay a handsome amount. As time passed Salaar was done with her and they ended up in divorce. Munni packed her bags and shifted to Jeevan Nagar. Babbar Shah realizes his mistake and apologizes to Munni.

The episode starts on a great note and Rabia Butt was the showstopper. She got maximum screen time and did justice to every dialogue and emotion. She didn’t go overboard with her body language and played the part just right. Sohail Ahmed effortlessly handled the dual role with all his experience. He is super convincing as Shah and Laali. The part required an actor of his caliber and he essayed it with perfection.

Summing it up, Jeevan Nagar is a perfect entertainer with the right amount of social messaging. Besides the well-written script and great directions, it rests heavily on the bravura acts by Sohail Ahmed and Rabia Butt.
