Koi Chand Rakh Episode 17 In Review: When will troubles end for Rabail?

Every week, this drama becomes more and more interesting. Not only the story line for Koi Chand Rakh is rather different from what we have seen on television so far, the performances by the drama’s lead cast are also simply superb. Ayeza Khan, Muneeb Butt, Imran Abbas being talented actors deliver top notch performances each week. And while Areeba Habib is a new comer, she has definitely learned the craft from the maestro Siraj ul Haq, delivering some fine moments as Nishal.

So what happened this week?

Well, Rabail is pregnant but she is yet to tell Zain about it. However, before she can do anything as such, Nishal hands over Zain all the love letters she made Rabail write Umair. And Zain who is looking for an opportunity to thrash Rabail over them, finds the perfect excuse when he goes home and discovers Umair waiting to see Rabail. In the heat of the moment, Umair doesn’t even get a chance to explain Rabail that it was Nishal who handed over these letters to Zain and not him.

On the other hand, Zia keeps Umair updated about everything that Nishal and Zain are up to. And even though he tries, he cannot stop the two from getting married secretly. And it is after the marriage that Nishal asks Zain to promise her that he will divorce Rabail as soon as possible.

But that’s not happening anytime soon, because upon his return home, Zain finds Rabail’s pregnancy report, which means, according to Islamic laws, he cannot divorce her.

So what will happen now? How will Zain react to finding Rabail is expecting his child? How will Nishal feel about all this? The next episode’s promo shows Umair telling their father about what Nishal has been up to and a climax with a gunshot. We’re rather intrigued as to what will happen next?
