Kuch Ankahi Episode-16 Review: Our confusion gets cleared but there is a twist in the story

Ary Digital drama serial Kuch Ankahi is a delightful watch carrying such positive messaging. The performances are all spectacular and we love the way the story is so well-knitted. In the previous episode, we have seen Aliya, Salman and Asfar’s dynamics getting interesting. In this episode, it is shown that Sehrish offers Salman a job at her office and Salman is ready to accept this offer.

In the previous episode, we were left wondering where Sofia Phupho is taking Thanvi on a drive. In this episode, our confusion gets cleared when Sofia Phupho takes Thanvi to Samia’s place. Sofia Phupho is aiming to convince Saif’s mother that Agha Jaan cannot help them out in her way and she suggests that Samia is a nice girl who can help them out in hard times. She suggests that Samia can do a job to help her husband.

Well, Saif’s mother like a typical mother-in-law totally shuns the idea of Samia working but we have seen that Saif has no issue with Saima working. Saif seems smitten by his wife but then we are so annoyed to see Shagufta back into the scene. Shagufta’s father seems sane headed and he is trying to put some sense in her head but she is not ready to accept the fact that Saif is now taking interest in his wife. It is so annoying to see Saif getting bullied by Shagufta.

Thanvi and Sofia Phupho’s dynamics seem quite interesting. Thanvi starts to take interest in Sofia and he does not shy away to express his feelings making Sofia furious. Samia seriously wants to adopt her jewellery making as her profession. Saif says he has no issue with it but he says that she has to convince his mother herself. The scene where Saif’s mother is wearing Samia’s gharara and Sofia Phupho comes in is quite a hilarious scene.

Asfar is taking great interest in Aliya and in places he is being cheesy with her. Asfar and Aliya’s banters are super interesting but we are rooting for Salman and Aliya. Salman gets fumed when he sees Asfar and Aliya hanging together. Poor Aliya is only accompanying Asfar because he is exploiting her as a bad boss. Sehrish offers Salman a job at her office and he is ready to accept that job. At the end of the episode, there is a twist in the story with Samia’s mother finding a jhumki in Agha Jaan’s coat pocket and associating it with his ex-flame Zeenat. Sounds interesting let’s see how the story will unfold.
