Pehli Si Muhabbat Ep-31 Review: It seems that luck is not on Aslam’s side

ARY Digital’s Pehli Si Muhabbat is a true depiction of William Shakespeare’s famous line,” The course of true love never did run smooth”. It seems that luck is not once again on Aslam and Rakshi’s side. In the previous episode, Nadeem convinces Aslam to change his heart for Rakshi and in this episode, Bushra further tries to convince Aslam to fully forgive Rakshi and go back to her.

Bushra’s character is shown in such a positive light, her sweet demeanor is so inspiring unlike the toxic obsessive love we see more often on screens, Bushra’s pure love for Aslam is one-sided and yet it shows that it is so liberating and fulfilling for her. She has not developed any sort of jealousy for Rakshi, in fact, she like a gem of a person convinces Aslam to fully forgive Rakshi and to go back to her.

Well, luck does not seems to side with Aslam and Rakshi this time again, when Aslam is all set to leave for Hyderabad his Mamu gets a heart attack, there is no one to look after Mamu so Aslam is quick to help his Mamu getting treated and in all this he is missing his chance to get Rakhsi back. The time is passing very quickly Rakshi’s wedding is in a day.

Rakshi calls the neighbor girl and she has a word with her. She just like Nargis treats her very sweetly and warmly even the girl cannot resists her warmth and she welcomes her as her friend. Moreover, the girl who is not happy about his father’s wedding is now getting ready for her father’s wedding preparations. So it is evident that Rakshi is going to relive Nargis’s life and it seems that part of Rakshi is happy and satisfied to give love to a motherless girl like her. Rakshi sees herself in that girl.

Rakshi gets the message that Aslam is coming, Rakshi’s gut feelings are telling her that this time too nothing will be in favor. Despite Nargis’s consoling Rakshi is crying her heart out and saying that she is never going to let his father down. This time his father also tells Rakshi to pray for herself he will see if anything happens in her favor otherwise he cannot say no to Arif. The play is unnecessarily dragged, it should get wrapped by now as it’s 31 episodes down and we are tired of seeing Rakshi crying all the time thank God she cried less in this episode. We want to see Aslam and Rakshi’s union.
