Giggle, jiggle, some random funny dialogues thrown in the pot with a dash of romance, and for the makers of Prem Gali, an ARY Digital’s rom-com drama is ready in its best form. However, unfortunately, though, audiences have seen much better content in the genre, and the repetitive, monotonous style offered by likes of Prem Gali sort of misses the mark now.
This week around once again Hakim Chaudhry (Waseem Abbas) meets with Shireen (Saba Pervaiz) and banter over buying essentials takes place – yes quite like last time.
On what was new, Joya (Sohai Ali Abro) gets a proposal that is rejected on the basis of her mother, grandmother, and aunt’s divorce. The reason for all the women living a single life is also revealed as a flashback to each of them is made.
To sum it up, Prem Gali in its second week as well did not have much to offer but to be honest that’s what one should be expecting from a light comedy that doesn’t necessarily have a strong storyline. So if you are looking for something to watch without getting emotionally involved, Prem Gali on ARY is for you.
