Tumharey Husn Kay Naam Episode-11 Review: The story shifts from classic romance to domestic violence

Tumharey Husn Kay Naam, Green Entertainment drama serial is down with 11 episodes, and God what a fall how this beautiful classic love story has turned into domestic violence. Performances are spectacular particularly Saba Qamar has nailed it. In the previous episode, we have seen that Salma is married to Atif. In this episode, it is shown that Atif is making Salma’s life a hell.

Salma and Atif’s wedding night scene is the most disturbing. Thanks to the channel for the trigger warning and the caution saying that domestic violence is condemned. Atif is so obnoxious, a thorough villain, he starts blaming Salma for having an affair with Sikandar and teasing her for getting rejected by him. He instead of giving her a wedding gift, teases and taunts her. The lipstick-rubbing scene is quite disturbing.

Sikandar is back, he says that he was unwell but it seems that there is much more than that. Muniza exposes her ugly self to him. She confesses in front of him that she loves Atif moreover she exposes more of herself telling Sikandar that she will go to ruin Salma for snatching her love. Sikandar literally begs Muniza not to think of doing any harm to Salma.

Sikandar lost his scholarship and it was unfair to him, however being extremely talented he bags another big scholarship this time in London. Well, Sikandar seems to be too naive after Muniza exposed herself to him, he should have avoided Muniza but no he behaves so normally with her which makes no sense. Muniza has told him that she is going to meet Atif on the other hand Sikandar is content all he wants is to see Salma’s happiness. However in my opinion he should not talk with Muniza after knowing her reality and aims, he should give her a shut-up call.

Salma’s parents are rightly wondering if have they committed a mistake by marrying off their daughter to Atif. Well yes, Salma’s father who happened to be so progressive has disappointed us the most. Atif has shown his true colors to Salma’s parents as well. He is making Salma’s life hell she cannot paint, she cannot study further nor she can even go anywhere on her own. Atif keeps taunting her all the time about Sikandar, he even tells her that she loves Muniza as she likes him and will marry her someday. Well, it is sufficient for Salma to know her so-called best friend’s reality.
