Yunhi Episode-17 Review: Kim unintentionally demeans Surriaya in front of Dada jee

Yunhi the drama serial airing on Hum TV is 17 episodes down and still, we are stuck with this Surraiya issue and still have not seen Hamid. The story is quite slow paced and there are no bangs in it. I guess this is the beauty of this play its calmness. In the previous episode, we have seen that Kim suggests Surraiya to elope but she shuns that idea. In this episode, Kim tries to help out in Surraiya’s case but ends up demeaning her in front of Dada Jee.

Kim suggesting Surraiya elope, in her view this is the only solution but Surraiya is wise enough not to follow this advice, she shuns that idea. Surraiya’s boyfriend Owais tells her about a troubling situation. He is just an average guy who seems to be from a humbling background. He apparently appears to be a decent guy who seems sincere but in the end, he also suggests Surraiya to elope with him if her family will not agree.

Kim and Dawood look great together. We are loving their cracking chemistry. Kim is looking gorgeous when she brings breakfast for Dawood. Dawood and Kim have started developing feelings for each other but Kim is too egoist to confess her making tea and breakfast for Dawood and his parents speaks volumes about her care. The scene where Kim brings oats for Basharat is super cute.

Even Razia starts liking Kim but this likeness is timely. In the other scene, we see Kim taking tea in Dada Jee’s room and there we see arguments going on between them to which Dada Jee is not ready to listen, he is shown as too rigid and conservative. Kim in her attempt to convince Dada Jee to not marry Surraiya off to Hamid spills the beans that Surraiya likes someone. This has made Dada Jee furious!

Dada Jee calls Surraiya to his room and in front of Kim Dada Jee asks her the reason why she does not want to marry Hamid. Kim on her behalf tells Dada Jee that she cannot marry him because she likes Owais. Dada Jee lost his cool in front of Razia tells that he will arrange Surraiya and Hamid’s nikkah tomorrow in haste as he cannot take any risk. Surraiya is angry with Kim. Poor Kim unintentionally spoils the whole plan of Surraiya and demeans her in front of the whole family. Will Surraiya really elope with Owais? We really are curious to know who is playing Hamid.
