“I was aspiring to be in love with someone for the rest of my life”, Zayn Malik talks about Gigi Hadid

Zayn Malik’s and Gigi Hadid’s break came as a huge surprise for the fans who had been digging the duo’s relationship since a long time. However, it seems, even though the couple is now officially over, Zayn needs some more time to be over his ex.

Recently featured on “On Air With Ryan Seacrest,” where Malik was present to promote his upcoming single, Let Me, Zayn opened up and confessed how he wanted to be in love with Gigi for the rest of his life.

Talking about the song, Zayn stated that he had written the lyrics about seven or eight months back while he was still dating Gigi and glimpses of his real feelings reflected in them.  “I think that’s pretty evident. I was aspiring to be in love with someone for the rest of my life and the rest of theirs, as we all do.” He continued, “Things change and we move forward in life. Times change, but that’s what I was thinking when I wrote it,” shared Zayn.

However, Gigi is someone Zayn holds in high regard and as his true inspiration. “We go through experiences so we have memories and stories and things to write down and contemplate and think about,” he said. “You get to really put your experience into something. It should be remembered forever,” added the singer while talking about his relationship with Gigi, even though its now officially over.

Zayn’s latest single Let Me came out on April 12th and is a beautiful melody!
