Yasir Hussain and Ayesha Omar’s starrer Javed Iqbal film gets a new release date!

Javed Iqbal: The Untold Story of a Serial Killer is all set to hit the cinemas on January 28, 2022, if plans go unchanged.

The film was earlier slated to release on December 24, but it was pushed back to January.

Yassir Hussain who is playing the character of the infamous serial killer in the film took to his Instagram to announce the new release date.

Written and directed by Abu Aleeha, the biographical film is based on the story of  Javed Iqbal, a Pakistani serial killer, and pederast.

Javed Iqbal’s confession of the sexual abuse and murder of 100 young boys, ranging in age from 6 to 16 in between 1998 and 1999 had sock waves across the country.

The film was initially confirmed to be released by the end of October.
