Mahira Khan confirmed as in lead role opposite Humayun Saeed in Love Guru

Both stars are set to return back to the silver screen after 9 years

Mahira Khan has been confirmed to be in the lead role opposite Humayun Saeed in the upcoming film Love Guru.

The confirmation comes from the director of the much-anticipated film, Nadeem Nadeem Baig. Love Guru is on floors currently and no release date for the film has been announced yet.

As reported, the team has begun filming the first spell of the film in Karachi.

The film is written by Vasay Chaudhry and has Suleman Razzaq as DOP who has previously world for films including ‘Punjab Nahi Jaungi’ and ‘Parey Hut Love’.

Love Guru is being produced under the banner of Six Sigma Films and ARY Films.

Humayun Saeed and Mahira Khan will be reuniting on the screen after nine years, They appeared together in the much-celebrated 2015 release Bin Roye.

“Bin Roye” was later adapted into a television series with the same name, which premiered on Hum TV in October 2016.
