Salman Khan to produce the new season of The Kapil Sharma Show

Indian actor and standup comedian Sunil Grover who came into limelight for playing the role of Dr Mashoor Gulati on The Kapil Sharma Show, is making a comeback to the small screen with the new show Kanpur Wale Khuranas. He has already shot with Rohit Shetty and Ranveer Singh and an episode with Dharmendra. While Sunil is returning with Kanpur Wale Khuranas, his friend turned foe turned friend Kapil Sharma is also making a comeback with the new season of his super hit show, The Kapil Sharma Show. 

Recently, in an interview to media, Sunil Grover revealed that Bollywood rock star Salman Khan had asked him to collaborate with Kapil Sharma again. Sunil, who is currently shooting with Salman Khan for Bharat, further stated that he couldn’t be a part of the show because of the scheduling conflict with the movie is shooting for. In fact, he also went on to reveal that Salman Khan is the producer of The Kapil Sharma Show.

“Salman sir is producing that show. My own dates would have clashed (with Kapil’s show) as I am doing a film with Salman sir. This show that I am doing for Star Plus fitted in the window that I had. But he (Salman) did speak to me briefly about it (bringing two of us together). We had a very casual chat about it but nothing much.”

When asked if there is any way he will collaborate with Kapil in future, he said,

“Time will tell, God will tell. Right now I am concentrating on my show and hope I am able to bring a smile on everyone’s faces.”
