Yasra Rizvi hits out at Lux Style Awards!
A day after Sonya Hussyn’s criticism for the popular Lux Style Awards 2021 nominations, Yasra Rizvi also took to social media slamming the nominations.
“Lux is basically a beauty soap brand like any other business their primary focus must be to sell more products and maximize profit. no?” the Churail actress questioned in her Instagram story.
“Hence like any other business they can use art to serve this very purpose but to serve art is probably not the purpose,” she added.
Sonya Hussyn ashed out at the Lux Style Awards 2021 jury for not nominating her drama Saraab in any of the categories.
For the 20th edition of the popular awards, there are nominations in 22 different categories this year, including fashion, music, and television.
However, due to the closer of cinemas and no new releases owing to the pandemic, there are no nominations in the film category this year.
