Thugs Of Hindostan trailer is an absolute treat!

Set in the 18th century when the East India Company ruled over the subcontinent, the trailer of Thugs of Hindostan portrays a war between Khudabaksh aka Azaad, played by Amitabh Bachchan and the British. The action-packed trailer released today and it’s an absolute treat despite giving major Pirates of the Caribbean feels.

Aamir Khan plays a Firangi Mallah who backstabs Azaad who sums up the essence of the film in a few words: “Agaar azadi hai gunah, toh qubul hai sazaa. Ab toh hoga wohi, jo hai manzure khudah! The film is basically Amitabh Bachchan vs Aamir Khan.

Big B’s second is deadly archer Zafira, played by Fatima Sana Shaikh. Katrina Kaif, who plays dancer Suraiyya Jaan only has fleeting appearances in the trailer and so it’s hard to tell which team she is on.

Directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya, Thugs Of Hindostan is produced by Yash Raj Films and marks Aamir Khan’s first movie with Amitabh Bachchan.

Thugs of Hindostan will release on November 8.
