The much-anticipated film of the year Wonder Woman 1984 released its latest trailer at the DC FanDome virtual convention on Saturday in the first part of the event.
Focusing largely on Kristen Wiig as Barbara Ann Minerva, a.k.a. Cheetah and Maxwell Lord (Pedro Pascal) as the villains, the teaser was unveiled by director Patty Jenkins alongside Gal Gadot, Chris Pines, Pascal and Wiig.
In the trailer, Wiig’s transformation to becoming the fury old tail holder is being widely appreciated while the storyline revolves around Diana Prince (Gal) having a chance at getting back her love of the life Trevor (Pine) as Lord has decided to grant the people their deepest wishes.

Slated for October 2, 2020 release, the team did not specify a particular date for the film to hit theaters or asserted this one, mainly because of the health and safety concerns amid the pandemic. But one thing they did confirm is that the film will only release in cinema and not go the web route.
“We all worked so hard to bring something that would be a big, visually spectacular. So we’re going to stick it out — we believe in putting it in the cinema,” said Jenkins.
“I can’t wait for the movie to come out soon!” he added without confirming a date.
The trailer, only the second to be released after the December 2019 first trailer, also mentioned ‘only in cinemas’ without specifying a release date.
