Christopher Nolan Wins Best Director for ‘Oppenheimer’ at New York Film Critics Awards

Christopher Nolan won the Best Director for Oppenheimer at the New York Film Critics Awards.

The New York Film Critics Circle (NYFCC) announced its awards for best films and performances for 2023 on Thursday.

The NYFCC voted Martin Scorsese’s Killers of the Flower Moon as its Best Film of 2023.

Best International Film award went to Cannes Palme d’Or winner Anatomy of a Fall.

While Hayao Miyazaki’s The Boy and the Heron was named the Best Animated Film.

The New York Film Critics Circle is celebrating its 89th year, the East Coast org comprises more than 50 journalists from various publications.
