Multi talented Yasra Rizvi to make directorial debut with film “Senti aur Mental”

Multi talented Yasra Rizvi who is already slaying the internet with her own poetry and killing poetry recitals, talked with OY exclusively sharing details of her upcoming project as a film director.

On asking about how she came up with the idea of sharing her poetry through video, Yasra replied, “I have been writing poetry since childhood but I left it thinking it’s a waste. Then I went abroad for studying business. I have been perusing drama and play writing lately. But after the death of my brother I took up poetry again after 3 or 4 years. And started to share them as videos in a while, I had no idea that people were going to like it and this is how all this poetry thing started”.

Her film project “Senti aur Mental” has taken on roll with a slated date for 2019 release. Yasra tells that it’s a multi task project she has been involved with as a writer, director and actor. “I am putting in all my efforts it to it, since the film was announced last year and by grace of Almighty we have started its shooting. I have tremendous responsibility and I am sure you all will enjoy my work as a film director”, shared Yasra.

Talking about the film, Yasra told that it is going to be a family drama love story, “besides me as an actor, film has Yasir Hussain, Faraz Mehmood, Abdullah Altaf, Jinnan Hussain. Qasim Mansoor is my director of photography”.

Talking about the music of her Senti Aur Mental Yasra told, “Music producer for my film is Shumaila Hussain. She has come up with outstanding compositions. There are around 9 songs in the film sung by various singers including Shumaila”.

“There is going to be a dance number, rock and roll and many other flavors speaking in terms of music in Senti aur Mental”, added Yasra Rizvi.

We have seen Yasra who has shown her writing talent for television as she has provided with the concept and script of on air drama series “Ustani Ji”, will have to wait till 2019 for her film as director, writer and actor, which we have a hunch will be an entertainer.
