Pak Suzuki Motor Company Limited has announced to increase prices of its locally manufactured cars.
New prices of Suzuki Alto VXL, and Cultus AGS will be effective from March 1, 2024.
The company in a letter shared new rates with its authorised dealers, showing the price surge in the range of Rs80,000 to Rs180,000.
Alto’s top-of-the-line model Alto VXL AGS after a price hike of Rs110,000, will now cost Rs3.045 million.
“Keeping in view inflation, increased overhead expenses, increased international raw material and accessories cost, and shipment/freight charges, it became difficult for Pak Suzuki to hold the prices,” the company said.
According to the company’s Head of Corporate Affairs the Red Sea matter is a very critical time for Pak Suzuki to control prices due to a significant increase in freight expenses.
