Transcending borders for love, a Karachi girl travelled to India to marry her love of life!
Jaweria Khanum, a resident of Karachi departed for India on Tuesday via the Wagah border crossing to marry an Indian citizen Sameer Khan hailing from Kolkata.
Her family bid her farewell as she crossed over to India.
Jaweria Khanum revealed that her visa was rejected twice, and she was eventually granted a 45-day visa.
Javeria Khanum arrived in India at the Attari-Wagah border and was received by her fiancé Sameer Khan.
Talking to media she said, “I am extremely happy…I want to convey my special thanks to the Government of India for the help…We have been in a relationship for the past five years…We were trying for a visa for a long time and finally, it happened. I have been granted a 45-day visa.”
The couple will be tying the knot in the first week of January.
