Diljit Dosanjh has made history at Coachella 2023!

“Punjabi aagaye Coachella Oye!” are the words of the Indian Punjabi singer that have been trending on social media timelines since Sunday as Diljit Dosanjh brought desi beats to ‘The Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival’ which takes place every year in Indio, California.

The actor-singer has now scripted history by becoming the first-ever Punjabi artist to perform at one of the biggest music and arts festivals in the U.S!

Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival is regarded as one of the most popular events in the music world and this year the inclusion of some South Asian artists has definitely left an impact.

This year, Indian singer and actor Diljit Singh Dosanjh and Pakistani singer and composer Ali Sethi were among the South Asian artists who made their debut at the festival as they performed alongside international stars like BLACKPINK, Kid Laroi, Charli XCX, Labrinth, Jai Wolf, Joy Crookes, Jai Paul, Frank Ocean and Underworld.
