5th February declared a holiday in solidarity with Kashmir

As per a notification issued, the Government of Pakistan has announced 5th February to be a holiday. Pakistan will observe the Kashmir Solidarity Day on 5th February 2019.

According to a press release by the Interior Ministry, the public holiday on 5th February will be marked by all Provincial Governments including Gilgit-Baltistan, AJ&K and Islamabad Capital Territory.

Public and officials are requested to observe one minute silence on 5th February 2019 at 10:00 hours in honor of the Kashmir shuhada, who have lost their lives in the name of freedom from oppression for their loved ones.
