Few days ago news surfaced in form of a press release that Pakistani actors and artists will not be allowed to work for any of the Indian production either film or TV.
This has sparked some reactions from Pakistan’s side as well, while many choose to remain silent on this accord but few are getting on social media to share their thoughts, earlier Salman Ahmad also shared his views in broader prospectus and this time it’s Tipu who speaks up.
Salman Ahmad speaks out on the ban put on Pakistani artists in India
Our very own actor Adnan Shah famously known as Tipu shared his very thoughts in a video message which was uploaded by Shahroz Sabzwari on his facebook account, following is the link shared below for you to have a look at it:
Adnan Shah who made his Bollywood debut in Himesh Reshammiya’s film’Kajraare’, openly shared what he thinks about the ban on Pakistani artists, ”Thank you for banning us, you have given us a chance to make an Amitabh Bachchan, Naseeruddin Shah and other big stars in Pakistan”.
While sharing his work experience in Bollywood, “I did a film in 2007. I wasn’t starving back then. Therefore, because of your ban, neither Fawad Khan nor Rahat Fateh Ali Khan will starve”.
Tipu also points out that, ”I have worked in India. People showed me a lot of love. But what does this ban mean? You don’t get our bread and butter. It is up to God”. Adding to it further Tipu says,”Your ban doesn’t change two facts. Facts that no one should ever forget. First, is your paternity. Second, is your nationality. My father’s name is Ghazanfar Ali Shah. I’m from Faisalabad, Dhobi Ghat, Pakistan. That’s not going to change”.
Pointing out at self imposed sports ban on Pakistani players he mentioned about IPL,” You banned Pakistani players from Indian Premiere League (IPL), but then Pakistan Super League (PSL) happened.”
Being a true patriotic Tipu says, “Pakistan is my mother. If I say anything to your mother, you will feel offended. Likewise, if you say anything about my mother, will I be ecstatic about it? So, here’s what I have to say. Go play your game, we will play ours. You’ve banned us. Thank you very much”.
In end Tipu has left a message from every Pakistani and for every one watching his statement, ”Pakistan above all”.
