In the on-going sexual harassment case, a 2nd witness recorded a statement in court.
The witness was among those who were in attendance during the jam session where Meesha Shafi alleged Ali Zafar sexually harassed her.
The case had been transferred from another court, and now Additional Sessions Judge Amjad Ali Shah is presiding over it.
Meesha’s counsel opposed the recording of witness’s statement. However, the said witness, Munir was able to offer her testimony under oath.
She claimed that in that jam session, 10 to 11 people were present and Meesha cordially hugged Ali. She termed Meesha’s allegation ‘false’.
This was the 2nd witness presented by Ali Zafar’s defence team in two weeks.
The case continues.
