The brother of ex-MNA Jamshed Dasti was killed in a firing incident in Muzaffargarh district of Punjab on Sunday.
As being reported, Mushtaq Dasti was attending a jirga over a property dispute when the opponent party opened fire on him over deciding against them.
“The incident occurred at Thermal Chowk near Bihari Colony,” the police said adding that Mushtaq Dasti died on the spot.
According to the police the suspect, Ahmed Shah, who fired at Jamshed Dasti’s brother during a jirga has been arrested.
The dead body of the victim was shifted to the hospital for medico-legal formalities and have launched a probe into the incident.
