Propaganda busted! Burj Khalifa lit up in the colours of the Pakistan’s national flag on 14 Aug

Dear Indians please refrain from spreading baseless news and ridiculing yourself.

Burj Khalifa, the world’s tallest building lit up in the colours of the Pakistani national flag to celebrate the country’s Independence Day on Monday, Aug 14.

Indian media had been propagating that Pakistanis residents created a ruckus in Dubai as authorities didn’t allow Burj Khalifa not displaying anything in connection with Pakistan’s Independence Day.

A morphed video went viral showing hundreds of Pakistanis fuming after the Burj Khalifa did not display the Pakistan flag.

However, to the Indian propagandists’ disappointment, this did not happen.

The Pakistan flag was, in fact, displayed at the Burj Khalifa, a video of which has been shared on social media platforms including Meta’s Instagram by the iconic structure’s official pages.

Many news publications and Indians were mistakenly celebrating that the Pakistani flag was not displayed on Burj Khalifa during their Independence Day.
Ironically, they were checking during the day, while the event actually occurs at night between 8 PM to 10 PM UAE Time.
Similarly, the Indian flag will be displayed on Burj Khalifa on 15th August, around 9 PM.
Dear Indians please refrain from spreading baseless news and ridiculing yourself.

On 14 Aug, the iconic skyscraper’s visual tribute was captured in a video shared across social media platforms, showcasing the awe-inspiring sight of the building adorned in green and white, mirroring the colours of the Pakistani flag,

The caption with the video read:

“#BurjKhalifa lights up to celebrate The Islamic Republic of Pakistan’s Independence Day. Wishing the people of Pakistan a day filled with pride, unity, and prosperity as you celebrate the rich heritage and achievements of your great nation. May the future hold even greater success and happiness for all Pakistanis. Happy Independence Day!”

Netizens were quick to share their excitement as Burj Khalifa lit in Pakistan’s flag colours marking the country’s 76th Independence Day.
