Coronavirus: 102 more Sindh policemen test positive

As many as 102 policemen have tested positive for highly contagious infection of COVID-19 during the past 48 hours, a statement released by Sindh police spokesperson on Friday.

The deadly virus has so far claimed lives of 11 officers and personnel, spokesperson said.

He added that so far 975 policemen in Sindh have tested positive for the virus, adding that almost 700 members of the police are still under treatment, while 264 have recovered and been sent home.

Sindh police department is taking good care of its personnel affected by the virus, said the spokesperson

In Sindh, confirmed COVID-19 cases jump to 65,163, while death toll has reached 1,013 deaths so far.
