The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) on Thursday banned transfers and postings after the dissolution of the National Assembly.
In a letter sent to the Establishment Division, the ECP stated that the transfer/postings should be made at the federal level after the formation of the caretaker government.
The letter has been sent by ECP Secretary Umar Hameed.
According to the Election Commission, the Caretaker Prime Minister and the Cabinet will be formed soon, it has come to know that large-scale transfer postings in ministries and divisions have been planned.
ECP clarified that after the formation of the caretaker government, transfer posting can be done according to law and policy.
