The Governemnt of Pakistan has announced four days holiday for Eid ul Fitr 2019. According to a notification by the Interior Ministry Eid holidays will begin from the 4th of June to the 7th of June, 2019 (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday).
As per the Met Office and the newly launched Pakistan moon sighting website, Eid ul Fitr is likely to fall on 5th June 2019. However, A meeting of Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee would be held in Karachi on Tuesday (June 4) (29, Ramazan-ul-Mubarak,1440, Hijri) for sighting the crescent of Shawwal-ul-Mukarram 1440 AH. The announcement for Eid will come following the sighting.
