The sources said Imran Khan can arrange a funeral in absentia for offering condolences and showing empathy for the deceased and this option is being considered.
Slain senior journalist Arshad Sharif’s last remains reached Pakistan late Tuesday night after he was shot dead in Kenya on Sunday.
His funeral prayer will be offered at the Faisal Masjid at 2 pm and will be laid to rest in Islamabad on Thursday.
