History will be created in just a few hours as Kamala Harris will take an oath of vice president of the United States of America, the first-ever female to hold the office.
Not just the first-ever female US Vice President, the former US senator from California is also the first Black person and first person of South Asian descent elected to the vice presidency.
With one oath, she will also become the highest-ranking woman ever to serve in government in US political history.
In separate Tweets, Kamala Jarris has been sharing special messages a day ahead of the inauguration.
“Starting tomorrow, @JoeBiden and I will work to unify our country, tackle the challenges facing our nation, and renew the promise of America”, she said.
On the 19 January evening, US President-elect Joe Biden and US Vice President-elect Kamala Harris attend a memorial service to honor the nearly 400,000 American victims of the coronavirus pandemic at the Lincoln Memorial, Washington DC.
