Karachi’s DHA residents are advised to prepare for the Severe Cyclonic Storm Biparjoy!
Cyclone Biparjoy now lies 600km away from Karachi in the Arabian Sea and is likely to make its fall on Sindh’s coastal areas on Thursday.
As reported, Cyclone Biparjoy is progressing northward and will likely turn to make landfall near the Pakistan-India border on Thursday.
The cyclone will rapidly weaken after landfall but localized flooding and strong winds are still likely.
As predicted, cyclone Biparjoy is expected to make landfall on Thursday between Gujarat and Karachi with a maximum sustained wind speed of 125-135 km per hour, gusting up to 150 km per hour.
The residents of Karachi’s upscale area Defence Housing Authority (DHA), have been advised to take precautionary measures as the Arabian Sea cyclone Biparjoy moves closer to the metropolis.
The DHA administration has issued an alert to its residents and advised them to prepare for any emergency situation.
