PML-N’s Khawaja Asif was spotted waving a wristwatch during the National Assembly session on Thursday in response to the commotion by PTI-backed MNAs.
Newly elected MNAs elected in the Feb 8 general elections were sworn in Thursday’s ruckus-marred maiden session of the 16th National Assembly.
The maiden session of the National Assembly witnessed a commotion as PTI leader Barrister Gohar said on the floor that “no crosstalk was allowed during the point of order” he had raised.
After that, Khawaja Asif was given the chance to speak but slogans against him erupted.
Khawaja Asif then took off his wristwatch and waved it towards the opposition — an apparent reference to the Toshakhana case against ex-prime minister and PTI founder Imran Khan.
