Man in New York commits suicide after stabbing wife for having crush on Hrithik Roshan

A man in Queens, New York commits suicide by hanging himself from a tree after stabbing his wife to death. He was upset over her obsession with Bollywood actor Hrithik Roshan.

The deceased woman, identified as Donne Dojoy was a huge fan of Hrithik Roshan and used to work as a bartender at Gemini’s Ultra Lounge on Ozone Road.

As being reported, Dineshwar Budhidat hanged himself to death at a field in Howard Beach on Friday. The couple used to live on Albert Road, Whitelaw Street in Ozone Park but Donne had moved out of the place around two weeks ago.

According to media reports, Donne agreed to go to her Ozone Park apartment to watch a movie with Budhidat on Friday. And ended up stabbing Donne to death and he also texted her sister, confessing of killing.

In a text message, he told Donne’s sister that the key of the apartment was kept under a flower pot. Later, he left the apartment.

As per details shared by a local daily, Donne’s sister reached the house around 7.30 pm and used the key to go inside. She found Donne’s body inside the apartment and called the police.

Meanwhile, Budhidat reached Howard Beach and committed suicide by hanging himself from a tree.

There are witnesses to Dineshwar Budhidat’s jealousy for his wife’s obsession with Bollywood star.

Rodney, Donne’s friend told that Donne never took her husband’s warning seriously as she loved him.
She told media, “I think he (Budhidat) loved her but at the same time, he was obsessed with her, because of the type of job she did, and she had a good body. She looked good, she always made her money, so he was probably jealous of her. She talked about him abusing her, controlling her, beating her, scaring her, threatening to kill her.”

Another employee of the Gemini Ultra Lounge said that the accused got jealous whenever Donne watched a song or movie starring Hrithik Roshan. Ramdhani claimed that Budhidat would get jealous of Hrithik Roshan and always asked Donne to change the channel if his songs or films were being aired.
