Model Areeba Habib openly apologizes to Zara Noor Abbas for video mocking her walk

The media was recently abuzz with the news of a number of models making fun of Zara Noor Abbas and her eccentric walk at the FPW’18 for FnK Asia in Karachi. The beautiful actress had depicted the role of a warrior princess with her ensemble and demeanor and graced the red carpet for FnK Asia brimming with confidence. However, it didn’t go down well with a few models, who later posted a video mocking Zara Noor Abbas and her walk on the ramp.

Zara however, took things in her stride and posted an open message addressing the models making fun of her. Zara’s message was to the point, very upfront and honest and did not spew hate at all. And now it seems, things have rung well with the models in question because Areeba Habib, one of the three who made fun of Zara, has apologized to Zara publicly.

Taking to her social media, Areeba posted,

“I would like to offer a formal apology to in the wake of the catwalk video incident, which includes myself and my colleagues, Farwa and Javeria. Also, I take full responsibility for uploading the video, and my colleagues had nothing to do with it.  The video shows a couple of girls – friends, colleagues – having their own fun in their own time and space, at the conclusion of a long day at work, something that all normal people are allowed to do but I accept that it should not have been done at someone else’s expense, especially publicly,” wrote Areeba, taking full responsibility of her actions.

She further added, “Given that the video was private, yet again, I stand by my stance: we respect all women and their craft very much. It seems like this incident has in fact been blown out of proportion by the third parties involved which is why I thought it would be best to take this chance to apologize for any inconvenience that this video may have caused to Zara Noor Abbas and bring all this to an end.”

Following Areeba’s apology, Zara Noor Abbas herself jumped in and forgave the lady with an open heart. “You and your fellows are women with beautiful souls. All said and done. May we know all great women supporting each other and moreover understanding each other. Like I said; Run the world, girls,” shared Zara.
