NAB to arrest Asif Ali Zardari and Faryal Talpur today

In a rather unexpected turn of events, IHC has rejected Asif Ali Zardari and Faryal Talpur’s pre arrest bail plea in the fake accounts, mega money laundering case. National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has already issued arrest warrants for the former president and two teams have already been set out to arrest Zardari and Talpur from Zardari House or Parliament House.

A two-member bench comprising of Justice Amir Farooq and Justice Mohsin Akhtar Kiyani served verdict on two pre-arrest bail petitions filed by Asif Ali Zardari and Faryal Talpur who await trial in two cases related to money laundering of billions through fake accounts – the mega money laundering and M/S Harish & Company cases.

Asif Ali Zardari and Faryal Talpur now have the option of appealing the order in the Supreme Court.

NAB team have now entered Zardari House. Asif Ali Zardari’s arrest is expected shortly.
