Nadia Jamil calls out ‘racist sponsors’ behind Samina Peerzada’s show

Samina’s Peerzada’s show ‘Speak Your Heart Out’ has quite been the talk of the town for a while, where top celebrities are seen having honest and candid chats with Samina Peerzada.

Marking the 100th episode of Speak Your Heart Out, Nadia Jamil was invited to the show where she had a candid chat with Peerzada, however, things got tense when the Mere Paas Paas, the actress came home and discovered the sponsors behind the popular show.

While actress affirmed that she has great respect for Samina Peerzada for doing a wonderful job, she stood her ground against the ‘racist brand’ behind the show and decided to call them out. She wrote

Although I have a deep respect for Samina Peerzada and love her a lot, I want to publicly distance myself from the heinously racist and demoralizing brand fair and lovely.”

She went on explaining how women should be burdened to lighten their skin color in order to look attractive.

A woman’s dark skin is her beauty. she should wear it with extreme pride and love! Yes, us women come in different colors, shapes, sizes, and personas. deal with its world. Respect them all, please”, she added.

Nadia Jamil had no idea who the sponsors were until after she came from the recording. “Stop telling us and making money off brainwashing the planet as to what our standard for beauty needs to be. We are all beautiful. Racism should not be endorsed. Body shaming should not be endorsed” she added, ending with the note to her fans everywhere that beauty is not identified with the color of your skin”.
