Pakistan reports 3,262 COVID-19 cases & 39 deaths

Pakistan has reported 3,262 coronavirus cases & 39 deaths during the last 24 hours.

It is for the second straight day that the country reported more than three thousand cases.

According to the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC), 49,412 tests were conducted across the country.

The total number of cases has risen to 1,011,708 and the death toll is 23,087.

Pakistan also reported 1,123 Covid-19 recoveries over the past 24 hours,

While the positivity rate was recorded as 6.6 percent.

Region-wise breakdown of COVID related deaths and cases reported on July 26 as follows:

  • Sindh: 2,153 cases, 7 deaths
  • Punjab: 457 cases, 20 deaths
  • Khyber Pakhtunkhwa: 214 cases, 3 deaths
  • Islamabad: 167 cases, 3 deaths
  • Azad Jammu and Kashmir: 110 cases, 4 deaths
  • Balochistan: 110 cases, 1 death
  • Gilgit-Baltistan: 51 cases, 1 death

Health experts have warned that non-compliance with standard operating procedures and no vaccination can increase death rates.
