To express solidarity with the Kashmiris in the Indian Occupied region, Pakistan will observer Kashmir Hour on Friday at noon.
Complying to the government of Pakistan’s announcement Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Director General Maj Gen Asif Ghafoor on Wednesday said that in line with the government’s announcement to observe ‘Kashmir Hour’ at 12 pm on August 30, national anthems of Pakistan and Kashmir will be played at noon on Friday.
While speaking at a conference held to discuss ceremonies for Defence and Martyrs Day 2019 that is observed on September 6, General Maj Gen Asif Ghafoor said, Sirens will also be blared for ‘Kashmir Hour’, while national anthems of Pakistan and Kashmir will also be played during that time.
He further added that a ceremony will also be held on Friday morning for the families of those martyred.
PM Imran Khan earlier on Monday, in his televised addressed to the nation while discussing the situation in Indian-occupied Kashmir, urged Pakistanis to stand with the citizens of the disputed territory on August 30 (Friday) from 12:00 to 12:30 PM.
