Sarah Gill makes history for becoming Pakistan’s first transgender doctor!
23-year-old Sarah Gill has successfully obtained her MBBS degree from Karachi University.
Gill took to Instagram to announce that she has successfully passed her MBBS examination.
Sarah studied at Jinnah Medical and Dental College, which is an affiliate institution of Karachi University.
“I feel proud to become the first transgender doctor of Pakistan,” Sarah said.
Sarah Gill intends to use her profession for the welfare and prosperity of other transgender persons.
As being reported, Gull has also joined the membership of various organizations.
In a conversation with Dunya News, Gill shared how “No one can stop you from achieving something if you’re passionate about it. There are difficulties in life. I wanted to make Pakistan famous and my parents have also accepted me after I became a doctor.”
In 2020, Nisha Rao became the first transgender law graduate in Pakistan.
Nisha Rao is a lawyer and activist, who recently become Pakistan’s first transgender student to have been granted admission into an MPhil programme to study law at Karachi University.
