Petrol price has been jacked up by Rs4.13 per litre, to be effective till March 15.
The outgoing caretaker government late Thursday night announced an increment in Petrol prices.
With the new increment, the petrol price now stands at Rs279.75 per litre.
Meanwhile, no change has been made in the high-speed diesel (HSD) price, i.e., Rs287.33 per litre.
The price of light diesel oil (LDO) and kerosene oil have also been maintained at the same rates.
A notification issued from the Finance Division in this regard stated that the price of petrol was increased as per the recommendation of the Oil & Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA).
