Punjab Assembly session has been summoned Feb 23
Punjab Governor Baligh Ur Rehman issued a notification in this regard.
Speaker Sibtain Khan will administer the oath to the newly elected members.
A statement issued by the Governor House said, “Governor Balighur Rehman has summoned a session of the Punjab Assembly at 10 am tomorrow, February 23, at the provincial assembly’s chambers.”
A statement by the Punjab Governor’s spokesperson said the governor had signed upon the summary of summoning the Punjab Assembly.
The session’s agenda includes, that the House will first elect the speaker of the Punjab Assembly, the deputy speaker and then the chief minister of the province.
