Punjab reports 120 coronavirus cases on Sunday

Punjab has confirmed 120 new cases of the novel coronavirus on Sunday.

The provincial total surges to 5,446 COVID-19 cases, according to the spokesperson for the provincial health department.

The case tally was updated till 7 pm on Sunday and included 68 new confirmed cases.

The remaining cases from the 120 had been reported earlier in the day.

CM Punjab Usman Buzdar shared the daily update on social media:

The government has cautioned people that the coronavirus can rapidly spread during the month of Ramazan. And the public is constantly being advised to stay home and stay safe due to the rendering of the frail health system incapable of accommodating all patients.
