SC to hear the appeal on Pervez Musharraf’s nomination papers after 10 years!
Pervez Musharraf, who served as Pakistan’s President from 2001 to 2008, had contested the rejection of his nomination papers during the 2013 elections.
The appeal against the rejection of Pervez Musharraf’s nomination papers has been fixed for hearing after 10 years.
A three-member bench of the Supreme Court, headed by Chief Justice Umar Ata Bandial will hear an application against the rejection of the nomination papers of former president Pervez Musharraf on July 20.
The last hearing on the appeal took place five years ago.
Former President Pervez Musharraf passed away at the age of 79 in Dubai after battling a prolonged illness earlier this year on February 5th after battling a prolonged illness.
