Schools and colleges in Sindh are to remain closed on Wednesday!
The Sindh government has announced a scheduled public holiday in schools and colleges on March 8 (tomorrow) on account of Shab-e-Barat which will be observed on Tuesday night.
Chairman of all Sindh Private Schools and Colleges Association Haider Ali Shah announced that there will also be a public holiday on March 23 as announced by the Government of Pakistan.
“Educational institutions are closed on the occasion of Shab-e-Barat every year as per the fixed schedule related to the holidays of the Steering Committee of Sindh Education Department,” he said.
He further added that the federal government has also reinstated the public holiday of March 23 in honour of Pakistan Day.
