Shahbaz Gill’s name placed on ECL after the federal cabinet’s approval

PTI leader is facing sedition charges for inciting mutiny within the Pakistan Army.

PTI leader Shehbaz Gill’s name has been placed on the exit control list (ECL), it emerges on Tuesday.

As reported, his name has been placed on the ECL on the recommendation of the Islamabad district administration after approval from the federal cabinet.

Officials, on the condition of anonymity, shared with the news channel that Gill’s name was added to the ECL after the federal cabinet’s approval.

The former special assistant to the ex-prime minister’s name has been added to the exit list at the Islamabad administration’s request.

Gill managed to secure bail by the IHC on September 15.
